General Admission Standards
Kindergarten students must be five years of age on or before September 1 of the year they plan to enroll. All students entering kindergarten will be interviewed and evaluated to determine their readiness for the kindergarten program. A copy of the child’s birth certificate must accompany the application materials and may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Students entering first grade must be six years of age on or before September 1 or have successfully completed a year of kindergarten and are able to satisfactorily pass a first grade screening test administered by our first grade teachers or assistant principal.
Students entering grades 2-12 must provide copies of recent standardized test scores, current report cards for the past TWO academic years, and a teacher recommendation with their application. Academic testing may be required following the interview. Admission is dependent upon evidence that the student’s most recent schooling experience has been successful both academically and behaviorally.
International students who wish to apply to King’s Schools should refer to King’s International Students program for more information and admissions requirements.
