Developing character, leadership and lasting relationships

Students at King’s Junior High regularly comment on the caring environment of the school, while parents say they appreciate the good, healthy friendships that their children make here. Through faculty involvement, and select school-sponsored activities, students’ social development is nurtured and positive memories and lasting friendships are created.

7th Grade students participate in the extended day Armor Blast and 8th graders participate in the three-day Armor Adventure, both held in September.

Students have the opportunity to participate in a mentor group. Groups meet monthly and also participate in a spring service project. Mentor meetings focus on spiritual encouragement, leadership training and character development.

At a time in life when students can be self-focused, we encourage all of our Junior High students to take a stand for what is right and to treat others with loving respect.
