King’s Sports Camps 2020

Welcome to King’s Schools…..where learning doesn’t stop just because school does! Our sports camps are coached by King’s own coaching staff. We offer incredible week-long camps that encourage sportsmanship, coordination, skill building, and self-confidence. Learn more about each offering below! Basketball

King’s Boys Basketball$105

Developing basketball skills while you are young is preparation for success at the high school level. Camper should bring shoes, shorts, a white & black or red shirt, and a water bottle. If you miss the June 8th online registration deadline, there is on-site registration for this camp on the first day of the camp session.

Shooting Stars Girls Basketball Youth Camp$55

The camp is dedicated to instructing girls in the fundamentals of basketball and to help them grow in the areas of teamwork, sportsmanship, and character. Girls will learn fundamental skills to be competitive in the game of basketball through competitive drills and techniques that they can take with them to continue to develop as an athlete and person. Our faith-based camp will encourage each girl to not only “shine” on the court, but also challenge them to “shine” in their communities. K-2 Co-Ed Basketball Camp$80

Girls and boys will learn the basic fundamentals of basketball with a heavy emphasis on dribbling, passing and shooting. Campers will get a chance to learn the game of basketball while having fun playing games and competitions. Camper should bring shoes, shorts, a white & black or red shirt, and a water bottle. Cheer Camp

King’s Co-Ed Cheer Camp$105

Girls and boys join the King’s High School cheerleaders and let them teach you some moves. Campers will learn basic cheer motions and techniques, jumps, chants, cheers, dances, basic stunts, and should bring a drink, snack, and tennis shoes. If you miss the June 8th online registration deadline, there is on-site registration for this camp on the first day of the camp session.

Football Camp

Every Man A Knight Youth Football Camp$105

Kids will develop basic football fundamentals including running, receiving, throwing, blocking and tackling (using soft pads, no football gear required). Fun team games will be incorporated to give athletes the opportunity to test their skill. If you miss the June 8th online registration deadline, there is on-site registration for this camp on the first day of the camp session.

Golf Camp

Youth Co-Ed Golf Camp (Entering Grades 2-5)$105

Girls and boys will first learn the techniques of grip, stance, and swing, along with the rules and etiquette of course play. Campers should wear casual sportswear or golf attire and tennis shoes or shoes that are close-toed (no sandals or flip-flops). Golf equipment will be provided, or players are encouraged to bring their own clubs. If you miss the June 8th online registration deadline, there is on-site registration for this camp on the first day of the camp session. Maximum enrollment per camp is 20 players.

Locations:  Monday-Tuesday, June 22-23, at King’s Elementary Playfield 2:00 pm-4:00 pm & Wednesday-Thursday, June 24-25, at Jackson Park Golf Course, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm (2-5)

Soccer Camp

King’s Knights Youth Co-Ed Soccer Camp$100

Girls and boys will enhance soccer skills, build coordination, promote sportsmanship, build confidence and encourage teamwork while gaining skill development in passing, receiving, ball control, shooting, attacking and defending. Each day will end with THE BIG GAME. Camper should bring tennis shoes or soccer cleats, a size 4 ball and water bottle with name on it.

Volleyball Camp

All Skills Girls Volleyball Camp$80

Girls new to volleyball and those who have several years’ experience will develop fundamentals of serving, passing, setting and hitting. Athletes can expect to improve these skills through the use of competitive team drills. In addition, every athlete will learn offensive and defensive concepts. If you miss the June 8th online registration deadline, there is on-site registration for this camp on the first day of the camp session.

Jr. High Pre-Season Girls Volleyball Camp$100

Girls will use a variety of drills and game-like situations to develop more advanced skills. Fundamental training and daily competitions will stress serving, passing, setting and hitting. In addition, athletes will learn team defensive concepts and transition offensive systems.
