King's Preschool is a Christian preschool for children ages 2.5 to 5 years old. Our teachers provide a nurturing Christ-centered environment where preschoolers gain a foundation for academic learning, grow in their faith, and have fun. 

King’s Preschool, located in Shoreline, near Seattle, WA, is a  Christian faith-based private preschool for children ages 2.5 to 5.  At the heart of our program is our personal relationship with Jesus and our desire to share His love with children. We are committed to providing each child with a thoughtful, creative, and cooperative learning curriculum that equips them in body, mind, and spirit for God’s purpose and glory.

Our Full-Day Preschool (8:15 AM to 3:00 PM) options by age are as follows:

  • Age 2.5–5-years-old *Potty Trained

Our Half-Day Preschool (8:15 AM to 12:15 PM) options by age are as follows:

Extended Care

We also offer extended morning care from 7:30-8:15 AM, and afternoon care from 3:00-5:00 PM (full-day programs only).

Teachers and Staff

The teachers and staff at King’s Preschool have a unique calling to minister to the youngest of God’s children, knowing that we are planting seeds of truth and wisdom that will become an anchor for their lives. Our classes are based on research and applied knowledge in Early Childhood Education.

Music

Music is a major part of the preschool day and is used to prepare students for elementary school as well as to fill classrooms with fun and joy. Students explore instruments and enjoy singing in circle time, during transitions, and other times throughout the day.

Art/Writing Center

A variety of art and writing materials are available in the classrooms to allow children to manipulate objects and explore their creativity. Art and writing centers are designed to give children the opportunity to develop, create, process, and work through their own plans and ideas. Teachers guide children in these centers to further develop language and communication skills through the art and writing process, optimizing autonomy, and allowing children to become confident and proud of their choices and accomplishments.

Dramatic Play Center

At this center, children take on various roles and recreate real-life experiences while building their vocabulary and social skills through cooperation and community play. Through dramatic play activities, students develop a greater capacity for communication and important habits of mind that extend far beyond classroom walls and school years.

Specialty Classes & Events

In addition to our centers, circle times, and other artistic opportunities throughout the general school day, we offer specialty classes each day of the week. These include Sports, Dance, Music, Drama, Spanish and Visual Arts classes, taught by experts, to promote creative learning, foster multicultural awareness, and reinforce and enrich skills and content being taught in the classroom.

For this academic year, King’s Christian Preschool Full Day hours are Monday-Friday from 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM and our Half Day hours are Monday-Friday 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM.
