How to Apply


King’s Schools is grateful for its community of families and looks forward to welcoming new families each year. King’s has a rolling admission policy and will process completed applications as long as space is available. Please select from the options below to begin the application process. Admission is dependent upon evidence that the student’s most recent schooling experience has been successful both academically and behaviorally.

Steps to Becoming a Knight:

Step 1

Submit a completed application and a non-refundable application fee of $50 per student

Step 2

After application submission the preschool office will contact you to schedule a meet and greet interview. Both student and parents are expected to attend the meet and greet interview.

Step 3

The meet and greet interview will be conducted and family will be notified of placement availability.

Step 4

Following acceptance and placement decision, a notification will be sent from the business office via email with instructions to complete an online enrollment process, including registering for Smart Tuition and payment of a non-refundable registration fee of $225.

Step 5

Once the online enrollment process is complete, you will begin receiving information from the preschool office to prepare your student to begin school.

Requirements to apply:

Kindergarten

  • Students must be five years old on or before September 1 of the year they plan to enroll.
  • A copy of the child’s birth certificate must accompany the application materials

1st Grade

  • Students must be six years of age on or before September 1 or have successfully completed a year of kindergarten and are able to satisfactorily pass a first grade screening test administered by our first grade teachers or assistant principal.

2nd – 6th Grade

Supplemental forms may be emailed to admissions@kingsschools.org.

Step 3

When the application file is complete, the school office will contact you for next steps in the admissions process. This may include a student interview, or testing and/or additional review of student’s application. A parent or guardian is expected to attend the student interview with your child.

Step 4

Following acceptance, a notification will be sent from the business office via email with instructions to complete an online enrollment process, including registering for Smart Tuition and payment of a non-refundable registration fee of $225.

Steps to Becoming a Knight:

A complete application for a student applying for Kindergarten-6th grade includes the following:

  • Online international application with $150 nonrefundable application fee.
    Any Domestic Student Application submitted in error will not be accepted. You will be required to resubmit an International Student Application and new application fee. Your original fee cannot be refunded or transferred. 
  • Academic transcripts from the past two school years.
  • One teacher recommendation form.
  • A copy of your passport.
  • A copy of any American visa you have (F-1, B-1/B-2, etc.).

All completed applications to 7th and 8th grades must have the following:

  • Online International Application submitted with $150 nonrefundable application fee.
    Any Domestic Student Application submitted in error will not be accepted. You will be required to resubmit an International Student Application and new application fee. Your original fee cannot be refunded or transferred. 
  • Academic transcripts from the past two school years.
  • Proof of an iTEP SLATE PLUS test score of 3.7 or higher.
  • One teacher recommendation form.
  • One copy of your passport.
  • A copy of any American visa you have (F-1, B-1/B-2, etc.).
