Why is it Important for your child to read the Bible?
With information at their fingertips, the deluge of voices and perspectives in the world overwhelms and distracts high school students. The one voice they can rely on for guidance, wisdom, and consolation is the Bible. Lessons learned from the Bible can prepare students for the challenges and opportunities they will encounter in the future. Whether it is handling conflicts, making important decisions, or managing stress, the wisdom found in the Bible can equip them to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.
How can you encourage your High School student to read their Bible?
It may be hard for your high school student to feel motivated to read their Bible. You can lead by example, discuss and reflect on their readings together, and connect the verses they read to their lives. An easy and fun way to help encourage them to read their Bible is by following the Bible Reading Plan above together.
