Private schools provide high-quality education with personalized attention, but they come with a cost. Recently, the King’s community in Shoreline, WA, organized an auction and gala to raise funds for academics, accessibility, athletics, and arts programs. The King’s community showed how much they care about their students and families by hosting a successful event that exceeded the school’s fundraising goal.
Members of the King’s community gathered at the Lynnwood Event Center on a Friday evening for a Gala with a Garden Party theme. Parents, staff, and other community members arrived dressed in florals and spring formal wear to support the school.
Live Auction
The live auction was the highlight of the event. Parents actively bid on items such as vacation packages to Arizona and Whidbey Island, an adorable puppy, sports packages, and exclusive graduation seats. The competitive spirit of the bidding showed that members of the King’s community were passionate about supporting the school. As a result, the auction raised an impressive amount of money. Exceeding the school’s goal and securing funds for academics, accessibility, athletics, and the arts program.
King’s Volunteers
King’s volunteers worked tirelessly to make the event a success. From organizing the auction items to decorating the venue, the King’s community came together to ensure the auction and gala were a success. Most importantly, this event raised funds, brought the community together, and strengthened the bond between parents, students, and staff.
Auction Benefits Students
The funds raised from the auction will benefit the students in many ways. The academic program will receive resources to enhance the learning experience. King’s will provide financial aid to make the school more accessible. The athletics program will receive resources to improve facilities and equipment. The arts program will receive funding for music, drama, and art supplies.
The King’s community dedicates itself to providing its students with the best education possible. The auction and gala demonstrated their commitment to achieving this goal. The success of the event showed when parents, staff, and the community work together, great things can be achieved, and students are the ones who benefit.
