Give NowA large part of what makes high school an amazing experience is what happens outside of the classroom. Students at King’s High School have several opportunities to use their skills and interests with other like-minded students.
Students at King’s High School have several opportunities to use their skills and interests with other like-minded students. We offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities from Robotics to Film Club to DECA and everything in between. With our sports, extracurricular activities, and clubs, students learn skills that transcend beyond high school. While participating in these activities and clubs, students can expect an environment where they lead, create, and learn.
Imagine an environment where teachers and coaches become mentors, where classmates and teammates become lifelong friends. That is exactly what you get when you say yes to King’s High School. King’s offers students numerous award-winning programs.
Our King’s Athletic program has won 56 State Championships. King’s not only succeeds athletically but excels in a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs. Our DECA, Mock Trial, and Robotics teams are all recognized on a national level.
More than anything, in every club, sport, or activity at King’s you can guarantee that God will be at the center. Spiritual transformation happens inside our classrooms, halls, gyms, and sports fields. Teachers, faculty, and coaches care deeply about our students, building relationships with them that last far longer than their high school years. Students oftentimes come back to coach or help mentor students in the program they once participated in. Students stay a part of the King’s Family beyond graduation.
A large part of what makes King’s High School Students thrive are the various opportunities to get involved. Students can choose from many different clubs and programs. All clubs are student-led and created with the endorsement of a King’s faculty member.
High school can present itself with certain challenges and stressors to students. What sets King’s High School apart is the student support we offer through our Counseling Department.
In 2009, the Cyber-Knights Robotics Program was born. Robotics at King’s High School is far more than just building robots. It is about team building, strategy, and marketing.
Starting as early as junior high, students at King’s can be a part of the Mock Trial program. When they transition to high school, the Mock Trial Team competes both locally and nationally.
DECA at King’s High School prepares students for life beyond high school. Students learn how to be leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
ASB (Associated Student Body) consists of student leadership that helps build a strong school community through programs, events, and activities that support the healthy growth and development of all students socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
The Quill is King’s High School’s newspaper, written for the students, by the students. Members of The Quill have the desire to draw people together by the stories they tell.
Students at King’s High School experience impactful moments and experiences through our extracurricular activities and clubs. We know God uses every space at King’s for His glory and the transformation of our students.
