Step 4: Student Interview
Upon assessment completion, a student interview (one parent needs to be present) will be scheduled or additional testing will be required.
Step 5: Acceptance and Enrollment Contract
Upon acceptance notification, an enrollment contract will be emailed within 48 hours of your acceptance. Once the enrollment is complete and returned, your student will be officially registered for the school year.
Wait Pool: If a grade level reaches capacity, your student will be placed in a wait pool. The Admissions Office will notify you if space becomes available.
General Admission Standards
Kindergarten students must be five years of age on or before September 1 of the year they plan to enroll. All students entering kindergarten will be interviewed and evaluated to ascertain their readiness for the kindergarten program. A copy of the child’s birth certificate must accompany the application materials.
Students entering first grade must be six years of age on or before September 1 or have successfully completed a year of kindergarten and must be able to satisfactorily pass a first grade screening test administered by our first grade teachers or assistant principal.
Students entering grades K-12 must provide copies of recent standardized test scores, current report cards for the past TWO academic years, and a teacher recommendation with their application. Academic testing may be required following the interview. Admission is dependent upon evidence that the student’s most recent schooling experience has been successful both academically and behaviorally.
All students are required to submit a current Washington State Department of Health Certificate of Immunization Status form before attending school.
